Mr. Hula died suddenly at his home, Thursday, Nov. 4. Born Oct. 14, 1888, in Prague, Bohemia, son of Joseph and Franktiska Hula. He came to this country as a small boy with his parents and settled in Cedar Creek area.
Lived most of his life in the area, employed by the Burlington and Missouri Pacific Railroad. A member of St. John's Church and Knights of Columbus.
Survived by his wife, Winifred, to whom he was married Oct. 14, 1916 (Note: Nebraska marriage record year is 1915), sons, Carl of LaPlatte and Charles W Jr. of Dallas, TX, 5 grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
