Summary
Funeral services for Charles W. Hula were held Monday, Nov. 8 at St. John's Catholic Church, with Rev. Fr. Raymond Hain, burial was in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery in Plattsmouth.
Mr. Hula died suddenly at his home, Thursday, Nov. 4. Born Oct. 14, 1888, in Prague, Bohemia, son of Joseph and Franktiska Hula. He came to this country as a small boy with his parents and settled in Cedar Creek area.
Lived most of his life in the area, employed by the Burlington and Missouri Pacific Railroad. A member of St. John's Church and Knights of Columbus.
Survived by his wife, Winifred, to whom he was married Oct. 14, 1916 (Note: Nebraska marriage record year is 1915), sons, Carl of LaPlatte and Charles W Jr. of Dallas, TX, 5 grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
