Angeline Sacos Phelps of Midvale, passed away at St. Mark's Hospital on May 18, 2003. She was the light of our lives and will live on forever.
Ann was born on Sept 29, 1925 to Peter and Cecelia Sacos and married the love of her life, Joey B. Phelps on January 1, 1942.
Survivors: beloved husband, Joey; sons, Joey Craig Phelps; Jeff Peter Phelps and Deena; she loved her sons and family very dearly; also surviving are five grandkids who were the joy of her life- Joe, Melissa, Ryan, Nick (Bonnie), Mandy (Jason); two great grandkids whom she cherished, Star Angel Phelps, Cole Vincent Phelps. Preceded in death by her parents; brothers and sisters, Glenn, Delbert, Vera Stark, Ilene Merrill.
Ann worked for the BLM for 30 years as a secretary and loved her job very much. She then was employed at Deluxe Check Printer for 10 years and at the same time she worked for Sears for seven years. The last five and one half years she worked as a greeter at Wal Mart before she passed away. She was a very loyal and dedicated person when it came to her career. Ann, a wife, mom, grandma, great grandma, will live in our hearts forever. We know she is looking down on us and watching over us forever. She was a caring and giving lady who loved being a wife, mother and grandmother.
Graveside services will be held Friday, May 23, 2003 at 1:00 p.m. at Larkin Sunset Gardens, 10600 South 1950 East. Friends may call at Goff Mortuary 8090 So. State on Friday from 11:45 a.m. to 12:45 p.m.
