This community was saddened to learn of the death of Frank Furner, which occurred at his home Sunday morning about 1 o'clock after an illness of only a few days of pneumonia.
He was born in the town of Hamilton, June 30, 1893, son of Frank and Catherine Furner, and October 27, 1915 he married Margaret H Reidman. He followed farming especially in regard to cattle raising, until six years ago in the town of Hamilton. In 1921, he purchased the farm known as the A. R. Eastman farm at North Brookfield.
Besides his widow and parents he leaves seven children, the eldest nine years old: Charles, Edwin, Gerald, Walter, Fredrick, Josephine, and Betty; three brothers Eugene, Edward, and Harry, town of Hamilton; five sisters, Mrs. Frank Manion and Mrs. Raymond Barnes, North Brookfield; Mrs. Arthur Barnes, Utica: Mrs. John Cunningham, Mohawk, and Miss Susie Furner who teaches school at Cleaveland.
The bereaved family has the sympathy of everyone in the community.
The funeral will be held from Saint Bernards Church in Waterville, Wednesday at 10:30 a.m.
