OMAHA GIRL KILLED IN AUTO CRASH MEMORIAL DAY

Dies In Hospital Following Crash On Road Northwest Of Blair

Frances McDonald, charming little daughter of Mrs. and Mrs. Clyde McDonald of Omaha, was fatally injured in an auto accident that occurred near the Lizzie Richter home late Saturday. She was driving the car, accompanied by her friend Mr. Johnson, to her uncle's home, Thomas McDonald, near Herman, when while passing the Richter farmstead she turned to wave to Mrs. Richter, giving the machine time to swerve out of control and plunge wildly over the road's embankment. The vehicle being of the roadster type with top down and windshield tilted, furnished but little protection as it rolled over on its top, crushing its victims beneath it.

The unfortunates were rushed immediately to Blair, where an ambulance completed the journey to the Lutheran hospital in Omaha. Here her condition was pronounced serious, together with Mr. Johnson's, hers later becoming critical.

Being crushed so badly, the ordeal proved more than her delicate constitution could withstand, and she passed away at 10:30 Sunday night. Her many relatives and friends of this vicinity mourn the leaving of this lovely person with so pleasing a personality. The family has our profound commiseration.
