LOG, SIGBJORN, brickyard worker, Sokndal, Rogaland, Norway. Born 7 June 1908 in Sokndal. Father Anton Tallaksen Log, born Sokndal 1855 and died 1944. Mother Oline Ommundsen, born 1870 in Bakke. Traveled to America in 1929 and worked in a brickyard in New York. Volunteered for the US Army, 1942, and came to England in 1943. Landed in France in June 1944. Fell 9 January 1945 on the border between Belgium and Germany. Originally buried in Belgium and re-interred here.
