Pvt. Clinton LeRoy Stoots, 42, Pulaski, veteran of World War II, died yesterday morning.

He is survived by his father, Dewey Stoots and mother, Mrs. Hattie Parks both of Pulaski; one sister, Mrs. Freda Alley, Wilmington, Del.; five half-sisters, Mrs Annie Byrd and Mrs. Lena Bentlley, both of Pulaski; Mrs. Mary Ray, Martinsville; Mrs. Geraldine Jarrells, Hiwassee; Mrs. Peggy Brown, Newark, Ohio; four half brothers, Charlie and Kenneth Stoots, both of Pulaski; E. C. Parks Jr. and Melvin Parks, Canton, Ohio; George Stoots, Newark, Ohio and Bill Stoots, Dayton, Ohio.

Funeral will be held Wednesday at 3 p. m. from the Church of God Prophesy, conducted by the Rev. Ralph Wells. Burial will be in Thornspring Cemetery. The body will remain at Strickler's Funeral Home until one hour before the service.
