Veda Emma Danks, 98, died June 10, 2000, Murray, Utah.

Born Aug. 25, 1901, Salt Lake City, the daughter of Zemeni and Emma Woolf Brown. Married Harvey Danks June 5, 1919, Ogden, Utah. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Jordan River LDS Temple. He preceded her in death June 13, 1984. Member of the LDS Church. Member of the Utah Daughters of Pioneers. She actively served in the Relief Society in many callings.Survivors, daughters, Phyllis Carnahan (Donald); Joyce Elliott (Raymond); Shirley Mathews (Robert); Sharon Rodriguez (Robistino); son, Donald Danks (Emily); 24 grandchildren; 45 great-grandchildren; seven great-great-grandchildren. Also preceded in death by her daughter, Marjorie Griffiths; son, Harvey Danks, Jr.

At Veda's request family and close friends are invited to graveside services Tuesday, June 13th , 11 a.m., Larkin Sunset Gardens, 10600 S. 1700 East, Sandy, where friends and family may call

Monday 6-8 p.m., and also on Tuesday one hour prior to the services.
