Funeral services for Mrs. Mary Golden, 70, wife of William Golden, who died at the family residence, 931 State street, Saturday evening at 5:30 following an extended illness, will be held form the home Tuesday morning at 8:30 and from St. Mary's cathedral at 9 o'clock. Burial will take place in the family plot in St. Mary's cemetery.
Born in this city, she spent her entire life in Ogdensburg and was one of the city's best known residents. Mrs. Golden's health had been poor since she was injured in an auto accident a year ago. She was a member of St. Mary's cathedral. Mr. Golden has been ill for the past few days of a nervous condition caused by worry over his wife's illness.
Surviving besides her husband are four sons, Samuel J of San Antonio, TX, William S. and Sylvester of Detroit, and Ralph of Newark, NJ; two daughters, Mrs. Helen Bassett of this city, and a brother, James H. McGarrity of Utica.
