EVENING SHADE Leonard Norman Forshee, 78, of Evening Shade died Sunday, Sept. 30, at White River Medical Center in Batesville.
Born in Craig, Colorado, he had worked as a building contractor and was a member and elder at the Seventh Day Adventist Church in Batesville.
Survivors include his wife, Beth Weddle Forshee of the home; two sons, Frank Forshee of Hyattville, Wyoming, and Norman Forshee of Avon, Colorado; a daughter, Sheila Sodders of Bedford, Va.; a brother, Edward Forshee of Rulison, Colo.; six grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
He was preceded in death by a son and two brothers.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Seventh Day Adventist Church in Batesville, with Laurie DeWitt officiating. Burial will follow in Powells Chapel Cemetery at Poughkeepsie under the direction of Qualls Funeral Home in Cave City.
Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
