Carlos L. Flowers
SURRENCY -- Carlos Lindsay Flowers, 78, died Feb. 21 at home.
He was a native of Wayne County and lived in Appling County most of his life. He was owner and operator of Flowers Service Station in Surrency for 40 years before retiring. He was a member of Surrency Community Bible Church.
SURVIVORS: his wife, Jean Flowers of Surrency; two daughters, Deborah Wofford of Jacksonville, Fla., and Pam Mayers of Baxley; a son, Carlos Lindsay Flowers Jr. of Hazlehurst; two brothers, B.J. Flowers and Ben Flowers, both of Jesup; a stepsister, Melba Simmons of Jesup; and six grandchildren.
VISITATION: 6-9 p.m. today at Strickland-Miles Funeral Home in Baxley.
FUNERAL: 2:30 p.m. Wednesday at Surrency Community Bible Church, burial in Surrency City Cemetery.
