Marilyn J. Mulford, age 84, of Sterling died Friday, September 13, 2013 at Coventry Living Center in Sterling.
Marilyn was born February 6, 1929 in Franklin Grove the daughter of Emery and Irma (Mall) Erbes. She married Lawrence "Larry" R. Mulford April 8, 1952 in Ashton. He preceded her in death on July 28, 2012.
Marilyn worked at Frantz Garage Door Company in the office. She enjoyed sewing, furnishing homes, and traveling alongside her beloved husband.
Survivors include her sister Norma Bales of Dixon, several nieces and nephews and many great nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents and husband.
Visitation will be from 10:00-10:45 A.M. Tuesday, September 17, 2013 at McDonald Funeral Home in Rock Falls. Graveside service will follow 11:00 A.M., Tuesday at Riverside Cemetery in Sterling with Reverend Thomas Bales of St. Patrick Catholic Church in Amboy officiating.
In lieu of flowers a memorial has been established to Christ Lutheran School in Sterling.
