One of seven Free French airmen killed in the Sept. 14, 1944 crash of their B-26 bomber in the Lakeview subdivision of Shreveport, north of Cross Lake, while training at Barksdale Field, La., for combat in World War II.

The Militaires Francais Memorial lists 100 fallen aviators. However, only 20 are buried here. This gentleman is not among those fallen, but he needs a memorial. People who know where this brave young man lies should please contact me so he may be properly assigned.

Gave his life for his country while training with Les Centres de Formation du Personnel Navigant en Amérique (The Training Centers of Flight Personnel in America) during World War II. See the Militaires Francais Memorial at Oakwood Annex Cemetery.
