Noble James Northcutt, age 83, of Route 6, Poplar Bluff, died March 9, 1975 at a Poplar Bluff Hospital. He was born August 16, 1891 in Hardin County, Tennessee.
Mr. Northcutt was married to Mary Stafford on December 24, 1909. She preceded him in death November 8,1971.
Funeral services were Wednesday, March 12, 1975 at 1:00 p.m. in the chapel of the Cotrell Funeral Home in Poplar Bluff.
Mr. Northcutt leaves four children: Jasper Northcutt, Poplar Bluff; Cherry Hitt, Clarksdale, Mo., Lela Hurley, Steele; and Mary Lucille Barnard, St. Louis; two sisters, Liza Boomer of Charleston, and Cora Williams of East Prairie. He also leaves 11 grandchildren and 28 great-grandchildren.
Interment was in Mount Zion Cemetery at Steele with Cottrell Funeral Home Chapel in charge of arrangements.
