Inez Glenore Blowers, 92, of Austin died Friday, July 12, 2002, at Austin Medical Center.
She was born January 19, 1910 to Adolph and Belle (Swain) Strand in Marion, N.D.
They moved to Litchville, N.D. in 1924 where Inez graduated from high school in 1928.
In 1929, she moved to Minnesota and married Walter Blowers on February 12, 1931 in Austin.
A former member of Our Saviors Lutheran Church in Lyle, she belonged to St. Olaf Lutheran Church and Senior Citizens Center in Austin.
She also enjoyed playing cards with friends.
Survivors include her sons, Robert (Florence) Blowers of Austin; Larry (Mary Ann) Blowers of Savage; six grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Walter and grandson, Bruce Blowers.
Visitation: Monday, July 15, 2002, at the church one hour before the service.
Service: 11 a.m., Monday, at St. Olaf Lutheran Church.
Interment: Oakwood Cemetery.
Funeral Home: Worlein Funeral Home, Austin.

My Great Grandmother was Rusina Strand Culbertson. My Mom, Geraldine, and my sisters and I visited Inez in Austin during the 90's. We have fond memories of her. She is remembered.|
