Our dear, sweet mother and beloved wife, Agnes “Fay” Robertson Adams, went to her heavenly home on August 30, 2005 to join her Lord and all her family who preceded her. She was born on April 18, 1919, in Olivia, Texas.
Fay is survived by her devoted, loving husband, James W. Adams of Blacks Ferry Landing. They would have celebrated their 69th anniversary on September 5, 2005.
She is also survived by her daughter, Gay Nell Matlock of Lake Jackson; son, Glyn Adams and wife, Janie of Angleton; daughter, Darlene Carpenter and husband, Gerald “Bit” of Clute; 11 grandchildren; 24 great grandchildren; 6 great-great grandchildren; sister, Lillian “Sis” Dossey of Colorado City, Texas; and many other loving relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Luther D. and Bonnie Robertson; brothers, J.D., L.D., Claude and Buddy Robertson; sisters, Edna Pace, Mae Morris, Ovella McAdams, Connie Singleton and Vivian Bradley; step-grandson, Tommy Speed; and son-in-law, Carroll Matlock.
