Leah Elizabeth was the sixth of nine children born to my great-grandparents, Solomon and Catherine (Hill) Swartz. Her tombstone states that she was born in 1842, but that is incorrect. All records that I have found prove that she was born in 1851, so the informant evidently was not sure of her age at the time of her death.
