Funeral for Harry Charles Whisler, 1306 SW 12th Ave., will be Thursday at 10 a.m. in the chapel of A. J. Rose & Son. Private interment will be at Lincoln Memorial Park. Mr. Whisler died Monday in a local hospital. Born Feb. 29, 1884, in Indianapolis, Ind., he moved to The Dalles in 1904 and to Portland in 1910. He had been a painting contractor here for more than 50 years. He is survived by one sister, Mrs. Tillie Hegarty, San Mateo, Calif.
