She was born in Gaston County on Aug. 27, 1918, daughter of the late Walter Theodore Huffstetler and the late Pearl Wyont Huffstetler.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Sloan A. Cloninger and sister, Helen Bradshaw.
Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Robert E. Cloninger and spouse, Elizabeth of Dallas; daughter, Kay C. Lee of Dallas; six grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held 3 p.m. Thursday at St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Dallas, officiated by Pastor Sherrill Curtis.
Visitation will be from 2:30 to 3 p.m. Thursday at the church.
Interment will be in the church cemetery.
