He was the son of Jean Paul Brewster La Mond and Lillian La Mond. He was a wholesale carpet salesman, and served with the U.S. Army in Italy during World War II. His obituary appeared in the Star Ledger, June 9, 1997, p. 16. His survivors were a wife Maxine, a son Jean P., a daughter Darlene, one grandchild and 2 great-grandchildren. He was age 73.
