Obituary

LORAIN - José A. "Tony" Rosario, 72, of Lorain, passed away Tuesday, September 3, 2013 in his home from natural causes.

He was born July 9, 1941 in Barceloneta, Puerto Rico. He came to Lorain in 1957. Tony retired from The Elyria Foundry. He worked there for over 20 years.

Tony enjoyed dominoes, fishing and traveling. He loved spending time with his family.

He will be dearly missed by his sons José A. Rosario, Jr. and Andres Dominguez both of Lorain, Israel Dominguez of Avon Lake and Alberto Rosario of Elyria; daughters Diana Dominguez of Allentown, Pennsylvania and Marisa Jenkins, Maribel, Maria and Bienvenida Dominguez all of Lorain; brothers Radames and Ariel Rosario both of Barceloneta; 20 grandchildren and one great grandson.

He was preceded in death by his wife of 20 years Bienvenida Rosario in 1989; and his parents Andres Dominguez and Ramona Rosario.

His family will receive friends Sunday from 2 to 6 in the Richard J. Reidy Funeral Home, 1783 East 31st Street, South Lorain. His funeral service will be Monday at 10 AM. in the funeral home. Deacon Tony DeGracia of Sacred Heart Chapel will officiate. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery, Lorain.

His family asks memorial contributions to the funeral home to offset burial expenses.
