Birth: Nov. 11, 1846, Germany
Death: Oct. 10, 1933
Milwaukee
Milwaukee County
Wisconsin, USA

Milwaukee Sentinel, Dec. 11, 1882, p. 8:2. The unusual attraction of yesterday's service at St. Gall's Church was due to Madame Alice De Stellini, whose singing alone and in a duet with Mr. F. Abler, was a rare treat to those who heard her. The smoothness, flexibility and power of her voice are seldom equaled. It is understood that the lady has kindly consented to assist at the Christmas services at St. Gall's when one of Haydn's grand masses will be given by the choir, under the direction of Prof. Ehlmann.

Fond du Lac Commonwealth Reporter, Oct. 9, 1933, p. 2:3. PIONEER ORGAN BUILDER DEAD. Frank J. Abler, Former Resident of Mt. Calvary, Stricken in Milwaukee. Frank J. He was one of the founders of St. Thomas Aquinas church in that city and was the oldest living member of the Holy Name society of that parish. Five years ago Mr. Abler and his wife celebrated their golden wedding anniversary. She died two years ago. A son, Alphonse, two daughters, Mrs. F.B. Fifield and Mrs. J.K. Kessenich of Milwaukee, survive. Funeral services are to be held at 8:30 a.m. Tuesday from St. Thomas Aquinas church, with burial at Calvary cemetery, Milwaukee.
