Funeral services will be held in Punxsutawney Wednesday for Mrs. Etta Sprow, 90, of Punxsutawney R. D. 2, who died Sunday. A lifelong resident of the Cloe area, she was born February 24, 1877, Bell Township, a daughter of C. E. and Mary Ellen Brown Williams and April 8, 1897 was united in marriage to W. J. Sprow who died August 12, 1956. She was a member of the Cloe Methodist Church. Surviving are four daughters and three sons, Mrs. George Singleton, of Wharton, N. J.; Mrs. Sheldon Guest, of Dover, N.J.; Mrs. Mary Barnette, of Sacramento, Calif.; Mrs. Jack Jones, of Phoenix, Ariz.; Max Sprow, of Punxsutawney R. D. 2; Jay of Niagara Falls, N. Y., and Edgar Sprow, of Sacramento, Calif. She leaves also 10 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren and a sister, Mrs. George Graf, Sr., of Punxsutawney. Friends will be received after 7 o'clock tonight in the Pifer Funeral Home where services will be held Wednesday at 1 p.m. The Rev. Thomas Himes will officiate and interment will be in the Oaklawan Cemetery in Cloe.
