Lucille Overby, 89 of Midland, left to be with her heavenly father on Saturday, January 15, 2011 at the Hospice Inpatient Unit at Midland Memorial Hospital. She was born in Burkburnett, TX to the late Samuel and Maggie Paris. Lucille was raised and educated in Burkburnett. She married the love of her life Cecil F. Overby on November, 4, 1945 in Wichita Falls, TX. Lucille was a homemaker all her life and she enjoyed going to garage sales to find her collectables. After her husband passed away, she loved to sit on her back porch to enjoy the sounds of nature while thinking of him. Lucille was a Baptist. She is preceded in death by her parents and her loving husband Cecil Overby. Lucille is survived by her two daughters Pam Hulsey of Shallowater, TX and Donna Pinkerton of Midland, TX; numerous grandchildren great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren. Graveside services will be today at 1:00 pm at Resthaven Memorial Park with Brother Bob Porterfield officiating. Services are under the direction of Lewallen-Garcia-Pipkin Funeral Home.
