RUBLE, EMILY SULTE - age 100, passed away on Saturday August 31, 2013, at Norris Health and Rehabilitation Center Andersonville, Tennessee. Mrs. Ruble was a faithful member of Magnolia Avenue United Methodist Church for 59 Years. She served for 30 years as a "pink lady" at St. Mary's Hospital. She was preceded in death by husband, John Burton Ruble; and son, John Burton Ruble, Jr.

She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Harriet and Tom Hendrix of Knoxville, TN; granddaughter and husband, Stephanie and Chris Smith of St. Augustine, FL; grandson and wife, David and Monica Maher of Franklin, TN; and grand daughter, Elaine Hendrix of Los Angeles, CA; great-grandchildren, David and Jon Simone, Scout and Benjamin Smith, Will, Kate, and Caroline Maher; niece and husband, Jane and Walt Anen of Knoxville, TN. A funeral service will be conducted at 5:00 pm Wednesday September 4, 2013 at Rose Mortuary Broadway Chapel officiated by Pastor Van Sanks.

Family and friends will meet at 10:45 am Thursday September 5, 2013 at Union Cemetery, Newport, TN. for a 11:00 am graveside service. The family will receive friends from 4:00 pm to 5:00 pm on Wednesday at Rose Mortuary Broadway Chapel.
