FAIRMOUNT — Services for Dr. Harry C. Lavanchy, 55, of 106 Oak Tree Court, Logansport, will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday in Hunt Funeral Home, 415 S. Main St., Fairmount.
He died at 12:01 p.m. Friday In Minneapolis, Minn.
He was bom Nov. 29, 1937, in Van Buren. On Sept. 21, 1958, he was married to Judy Peacock, who survives.
Dr. Lavanchy was a veterinarian for the U. S. Department of Agriculture. A graduate of Van Buren High School, he received his bachelor's and veterinarian degree from Michigan Slate University,
He was a member of Market Street United Methodist Church in Logansport, the Logansport Stamp Club, and the American Veterinarian Medical Association.
Also surviving are two sons, Phillip, Indianapolis, and Aaron, Lafayette; one sister, Helen Byer, Kimmel; two brothers, John, Van Buren and John, Barnsville, and one granddaughter.
Xen Harvey will officiate at the services. Cremation will follow the service, with burial in Park Cemetery.
Friends may call from noon until the time ol the services Tuesday in the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Epilepsy Foundation of America.
