William J. (Bill) Cary, 77 of Conneaut Ave. died Sunday, December 14, 2003 at Wood County Hospital. He was born November 9, 1926 in Detroit, Mi. to Leon J. and Irene (Mariner) Cary. He lived most of his life in B.G. and graduated from Bowling Green High School in 1944. Following graduation he worked on three ore carriers on the Great Lakes. He then worked for Western Union in Cincinnati and returned to northwest Ohio working for Brush Berylium in Luckey, Ohio. And finally joined the Sentinel Tribune for 36 years working in the production department. He married Mary Ann Roe on August 2, 1958 and they recently celebrated their 45th anniversary. He is survived by his wife and nephews; Michael, Steven and Robert Cary and niece; Tracy Tajblyk. He was "Uncle Bill" & loved by many nieces and nephews of the Roe family. Bill was preceeded by his parents, a sister; Lucille I. Cary and a brother; Richard. Bill had a special interest in photography, taking wedding pictures for many years. Other interests included collecting stamps, watches, clocks and antiques. He enjoyed attending auctions, traveling and meeting friends for coffee. A celebration of Life Service will be held Wednesday, Decemeber 17, 2003 at 11:00am in the Dunn Funeral Home. Revs. Edward Schleter and Thomas Gaiser, officiating. Burial is in Weston Cemetery. Visitation is Tuesday from 4 to 8pm. Memorial contributions may be given to the Wood County Unit of the American Cancer Society
