Hubert Niel "Cigar" Morris 65, of Witcher, died March 29, 2004, at home after a short illness. He was a disabled truck driver for Carbon Fuel Co. and a lifelong resident of the Belle area.

Surviving are his wife, Shelby Jean Morris; daughters, Linda Jameson of Belle, Brenda Myers of Witcher, Tammy Dunford of Charleston, and Karen Thomas of Falls View, W.Va.; a brother, Noel Lee Morris of California; and a sister, Wanda Workman of Belle; 10 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

Funeral service will be 11 a.m. Thursday, April 1, at Fidler & Frame Funeral Home, Belle, with the Rev. Terry Dunford officiating. Burial will follow at Witcher Memorial Gardens, Belle. Friends may call after 7 p.m. Wednesday, March 31, at the funeral home.
