were born to them: Janice (Mrs.
Leo Miller) of Sheffield, Ia., and
Bill Rodda, D.D.S. of Charles City,
Ia. There are five grandchildren:
Curt, Elise and Kristie Miller and
Brad and Karin Rodda.
He was a member of the Nain
Lutheran Church, Newell, a Farm
Bureau member, had served nine
years on the Sulphur Springs
School Board, a member of the local
and Quad County Horseshoe Pitching
~Association and has been
co-chairman of Spencer Fair Horseshoe
Pitching Tournament since its
inception. His enthusiasm and
teasing competitiveness contributed
much to the advancement of the game.
