Reed Arlo Grover born January 27, 1960 at the Rigby Maternity home to Arlo LeRoy and Karen Beth Lovell Grover died at his home Friday, August 30, 2013 He attended Ririe schools, graduating from Ririe High School. He played football and wrestled. Reed learned welding as a trade at EITC, but was very accomplished in the carpentry industry. He worked on various prisons in the northwest. He later worked for Big D Construction Co. in Jackson Hole, Wyoming. He made many beautiful tables and staircases. Reed married Pamela Joan Yazzie in Ririe, ID on December 19, 1981. They were married for 28 years before her death in January 2009. On June 21, 2010 Reed married Trish Ann Vukasin at his home in Ririe. Trish lovingly cared for Reed through his fight with pancreatic cancer. Reed was a kind-hearted and compassionate person. He loved children. Many of them called him Uncle Reed or Papa Reed. He was a member of the LDS Church. He liked to snowmobile, fish hunt, camp, and ride his RZR in the mountains. Reed is survived by his wife Trish, a son, Ryan Benjamin (Savahnna), two granddaughters, Mhya Lhyn and Brooklyn Joan, his parents, Arlo and Karen, brothers Robert (Louri), Randy (Danielle), sisters Terri, Julie (Lawrence), Kara and many nieces, nephews and cousins who loved him. The Grover family thanks Ron and Bethene Caudill, Lorrie Smith, Sherry Wheeler and Arline Bowen for their efforts in organizing and everyone that supported the benefit for Reed in 2012. They also give thanks to One Source Hospice and Teton Oncology. He was preceded in death by his wife Pam and his grandparents, Ursel and Alice Hutchens Grover and George and Edith Haroldsen Lovell. Reed requested contributions be given to Pancreatic Cancer Action Network, 1500 Rosecrans Avenue, Suite 200, Manhattan Beach, CA 90266. Funeral services will be held Tuesday September 3, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. in the Ririe Stake Center, 14061 North 130 East Ririe, ID. The family will visit with friends on Monday September 2, 2013 from 7:00 to 8:30 p.m. at Eckersell Memorial Chapel, 101 West Main Rigby and on Tuesday from 9:30 to 10:45 a.m. at the Stake Center on Tuesday. Burial will be in the Ririe-Shelton Cemetery.
