Frances Marie Scroggins was born July 18, 1934 at Collinsville, Texas to Albert Turner and Elsie Opal (Blakely) Hendershot and passed away Tuesday, August 13, 2013 at the age of 79. She graduated from Hammon High School and was married to Raymond F. Allen in 1950. She was married to Jack Scroggins in 1966. Frances lived in western Oklahoma most all of her life. She owned and operated a flower shop in Cheyenne and Sayre. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, a son, Jim, 2 sisters and 4 brothers.
Survivors include 5 daughters, Linda Murphy and her husband Dan of Broken Arrow, OK, Karen Allen Dedmon of Oklahoma City, Sandy Trent of Elk City, Kathy Allen of Cheyenne, Jackie Clanahan and her husband Brad of Piedmont, OK, 12 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren.
Funeral services for Frances Scroggins will be conducted Saturday, August 17, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. from the Strong City First Baptist Church with R.B. Mathis officiating
Interment will be in the Strong City Cemetery under the direction of the Martin Funeral Home.
