Born in Danville October 15, 1926, he was the son of the late Forest and Dorothy Duncan Hicks Humber.
He was the former owner of Humber Heating and Air Conditioning, and an army veteran of World War II.
He attended the Harrodsburg Christian Church and the Harrodsburg United Methodist Church.
Survivors include: his wife, Barbara Jean Asher Humber, Harrodsburg; two sons, Danny William Humber, Mercer County, and Timothy Joe Humber, Versailles; one daughter, Toni Jean Humber Turpin, Versailles; four grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
Funeral services were conductedFriday, May 26, at the McClellan Funeral Home with Rev. Mark Girard and Rev. David Hartman officiating. Burial was in Spring Hill Cemetery.
Pallbearers were John Wayne Peavler, Mike Barnard, Sid Hollar, Paul Shirley, David Quinn and John Markel.
