SPRING HILL, FL: Kenneth J. Toeppe, 80, former native Fremont resident, died May 22 in Spring Hill, Florida after a lengthy illness.
Mr. Toeppe is survived by his wife of 60 years, Dorothy (Tiffany) Toeppe; and seven children, Lawrence (Jeanette) Toeppe, Cripple Creek, CO, Carol (Raymund) Wise, Lakeside, OH, Michael Toeppe, Spring Hill, FL, Mary (Dan) Fulton, Newark, OH, Paula (Thomas) O'Neill, Ocala, FL, Stephen Toeppe, Spring Hill, FL, Kenneth Toeppe, Jr., Spring Hill, FL; eight grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; five sisters; and three brothers.
Serving as a Sergeant First Class, Mr. Toeppe was a combat-wounded Korean War Veteran and a Purple Heart recipient. He was a life member of the VFW and American Legion.
