Andrew was the son of William Huston, Jr. and his wife, Harriet Lee. He was born in about 1827 in Maysville, Mason County, Kentucky. He had 10 brothers and sisters. Their father was a "commission merchant."
Andrew was named for his father's friend and business partner, Andrew McConnell January. (Mr. January was also Andrew Huston's uncle, having married his aunt, Sarah Huston.)
Sometime between 1850 and 1860, the family moved to Cincinnati, Hamilton County, Ohio. In the 1860 Census, Andrew is the head of the family. Living with him are his mother and several of his brothers and his one surviving sister, Clara. The father, William, died in 1852, as that is when his will was proved.
Andrew has no stone.
At this time, it's not known if Andrew married or had any children in the year between the 1860 census and his death a year later.
If anyone knows anything about Andrew, please contact me. Thank you!
