LYONS, Ga., Jan 22—Randall Leonard Currie, 74, prominent farmer and landowner of Route 2, Uvalda, died at his home Monday night. Born in Toombs County, he had lived in this section all of his life. The son of the late Daniel L. and Maria Ryals Currie, he was a member of the Cedar Crossing Baptist Church.

Survivors are his wife, Mrs. Clara Jeanes Currie; six sons, Luther and Ben of Uvalda, Carl of Memphis, Tenn., Donald of Statesboro, Ernest of Warner Robins, Pat of Fort Stewart; three daughters, Mrs. Joe Johnson of Uvalda, Miss Louise Currie and Miss Clarice Currie of Savannah; ten grandchildren; one sister, Mrs. B.C. Anderson of Mt. Vernon.

Funeral services were held on Wednesday afternoon at 3 o’clock at Smyrna Methodist Church, conducted by Rev. David Aycock, Rev. J.T. Stewart and Rev. C.B. Studstill. Burial was in the church cemetery.

Trapnell Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
