DRY FORK, Va. - Madie Reynolds Dodd, 89, of Drey Fork, died July 17, 2002, at Roman Eagle Memorial Home. Born Feb. 7, 1913 in Pittsylvania County, she was the daughter of Johnnie Namon Reynolds and Lucy Jones Reynolds.
She was married Dec. 6, 1932, to Perry Thomas Dodd, who predeceased her Feb. 14, 1976. She is survived by two sons, Perry Thomas Dodd Jr. and Johnnie Wayne Dodd; two daughters, Jean Marie Reynolds and Vernona Joyce Reid; a sister, Mary R. LaPrade; a half brother, Johnnie Ray Reynolds; five grandchildren. She was also predeceased by a son, Harry Ronald Dodd.
Burial will be at Mountain View Cemetery.
