Patricia F. McNulty, 81, Owned ''Pat's Corner'' at Jamies Flea Market


Patricia F. (nee Clark) McNulty, 81, of Lorain, died on Thursday, March 18, 2004, at New Life Hospice Center at St. Joseph in Lorain, OH following a short illness.
Mrs. McNulty was born on September 15, 1922, in Watfordshire, England and has lived in Lorain since 1952.

During WW II, she was the English version of "Rosie the Riveter." She was employed at an English aircraft plant attaching the wing tips to bombers. In the US, she owned and operated "Pat's Corner," a collectible glassware shop located in Jamie's Flea Market. She had her shop from the time Jamie's opened until 1996.

She was an avid gardener maintaining an "English" garden in her backyard. She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary.

Mrs. McNulty is survived by her son, Martin J. McNulty of Lorain, three grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, one nephew and her sister Betty Bater of Honor, MI.

She is preceded in death by her husband Martin M. McNulty in 1963, her son Brian McNulty in 2003, and her parents Thomas and Mary F. (nee O'Sullivan) Clark.

Friends may call at Schwartz Spence Boyer & Cool Home for Funerals, 1124 W. 5th Street, Lorain, OH, on Sunday, March 21, 2004, from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. A prayer service will follow by Rev. Jimmy Madsen, co-pastor of the First Evangelical Lutheran Church, officiating.

Graveside services will be held on Monday, March 22, 2004, at 11:00 a.m. in Calvary Cemetery in Lorain, OH, with Rev. Dr. L. H. Chamberlain co-pastor of the First Evangelical Lutheran Church, officiating.

The family suggests that memorials may be made to New Life Hospice, 5255 N. Abbe Road, Elyria, Ohio 44035.
