Mamie Lee Crump Austin, 78, of Lenoir, passed away Sunday, Jan. 3, 2010, at Camelot Manor.

Mrs. Austin was born March 27, 1931, in Caldwell County to the late William Riley Crump and Minnie Crump.

She enjoyed her children, grandchildren, yard sales and music.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sons, William Eugene "Buck" Austin and Billy Ronald Austin; her brothers, Marshall and Ralph Crump; and her sister, Betty Price.

Survivors include her husband, two sons, two daughters, three sisters, 15 grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great grandchildren.

The funeral service was held Wednesday, Jan. 6, 2010, at Pendry's chapel at 1 p.m. Burial followed the service in Blue Ridge Memorial Park.
