HARRISBURG, Pa. - Mary C. Mauro (nee Dziak), 84, of Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, died Wednesday, August 14, 2013 at her home.

She was born February 28, 1929 in Lorain and had resided in Harrisburg since 1970.

Mary worked at General Industries in Elyria and Crystal Clear Cleaners in Lorain.

She was a former member of the Church of St. Peter in Lorain where she helped install the stained glass windows in the church when it was constructed.

Mary enjoyed crocheting, crafts, baking and cooking and was a member of St. Ann Lodge Br #114.

She is survived by her brothers John Dziak (Frances) of Lorain and Andrew "Butch" Dziak (Jean) of Sheffield Village; sisters Katherine "Kay" Brest (Andrew) of Phoenix, AZ, Agnes Dziak of Boston, MA and Margaret Heller (Rich) of Florida and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband James Mauro; parents Charles & Susan Dziak (nee Madansky); brothers Charles, Joseph and Paul Dziak and sisters Anna Zadorozny, Sue Lehman and Pauline Kudrin.

The family will receive friends Sunday 4-8 p.m. at the Gluvna-Shimo-Hromada Funeral Chapel, 3224 Broadway Ave, Lorain. Funeral services will be held Monday at 9:00 a.m. in the funeral chapel with the Rev. Kenneth DeLuca officiating.

Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery in Lorain.

Memorial contributions can be made to the American Diabetes Association , 4500 Rockside Rd, Suite 440, Independence, OH. 44131.
