FORMER BLAIRITE DIED IN OMAHA
Funeral services were held Saturday afternoon for a former Blairite, John Jessen, 73 years of age, of Omaha, who died Thursday.
The services were held at the Bendorf Funeral Home, the Rev. Dale Westadt officiating with interment in the Blair Cemetery.
Mr. Jessen, who was born October 5, 1890 in Blair, was a guard for the Corps of Engineers in Omaha. Surviving are his wife, Elvira; and a son Russell Jessen of Chicago.
Graveside Military services were held. Mr. Jessen was a veteran of World War I.
Pallbearers were Robert Petersen, Clarence Gummus, Milo Petersen, Leonard Petersen, Emil Weber and Ted Weber.
