Obit from Courier Journal, Louisville reads: JAMES RICHARD ROLLER, 83, SUCCUMBS IN LOUISVILLE --James Richard Roller, 83, formerly of the Gravel Switch section (Marion Co.,KY)died early Tuesday morning at his home in Louisville, Long a conductor with the L & N Railroad Company, he was retired several years ago. He was born and reared t Graves Switch but had made his hime in Louisville since he was a young man. He was a brother of Mrs. Joe Cox and Mrs. Mary Lankford of Lebanon.
Other survivors are two sons: Oliver V., and James C. Roller, and three daughters, Mrs.Gus H. (Bessie) Smith and Misses Neoma and Inez Roller, all of LOuisville; four grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Mr. and Mrs. Cox, Mrs. Lankford and Miss Leona McCarthy will attend the funeral services which are to be held at the Lee E. Cralle Funeral Chapel this morning at ll o'clock. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Louisville.
NOTE: HIS WIFE, Anna Laura Roller preceded him in death on May 2, 1935 at age 65.
