Chuck built what is called "Dietz Airpark" near Canby, out in the country towards Mulino. It was a private air strip with expensive houses lining the air strip with an airplane hangar by each house.
He had a falling out with his wife Jan of many years and they divorced.
After the divorce Chuck started his own bank right next door to the bank that his ex-wife was the vice-president of! I don't think it did too well since it was not open for business for too many years before closing.
Also, Chuck remarried after his divorce from Jan.
Chuck's obit did not say where, if at all, he was going to be buried.
