He was born on April 30, 1961, in Parkersburg. Carl was a graduate of Parkersburg High School with the class of 1979 and a veteran with the U.S. Navy. He along with his wife Cyndie, owned and operated New Image Services Plus Inc. Carl worked for 25 years for Davis Interiors doing shipboard habitability. While attending Crossroads Baptist Church in Jacksonville, Fla., he was youth leader and bus ministry captain.
He is survived by his wife, Cyndie Dickard Wade; two daughters, Jessica Wade, who is attending WVU in Morgantown, and Brittany Wade, of the home; one niece whom he raised, Brianna Roberts of Parkersburg; one great-nephew, Hunter Roberts; one brother, Barry Wade of Parkersburg; one half-brother, Chris Wade of Parkersburg; two stepbrothers, Donny Wade of Belpre, Ohio and Charles Wade of Parkersburg; and his mother-in-law, Barbara Dickard of Renton, Wash.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Marylin D. Blair; and his father, Melvin Blair.
Funeral services will be 1:30 p.m. on Sunday, Aug. 18, at Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, Pike St., south Parkersburg with Pastor Don Yeager officiating and full military rites by the American Legion Post #15 Parkersburg. Interment will follow at the Shiloh Cemetery in Wood County. Visitation will be from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 17 at the funeral home.
