Ray Ogle, Sr., age 91, of Cohutta, passed away on Saturday, August 10, 2013 at his residence.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Edward & Mary Lavisha Ogle; 2 brothers, Clyde Ownby and Rellie Ogle; 2 sisters, Winnie Ensley and Nellie Roberts.

He was a WWII veteran of the United States Army.

He is survived by his loving wife of 67 years, Mary Ruth Ogle of the residence; 3 daughters and sons-in-law, Freida & Arlie Barbree of Chattanooga, Patsy & Barron Peeples of Chatsworth and Vicki & Clifford Hudgins, of Cleveland; son & daughter-in-law, Ray, Jr. & Emma Lee Ogle of Cleveland; sister, Ina Shultz of Cohutta; brothers, Homer Ogle of the Beaverdale Community and Dot "Roy" Ogle of Chatsworth; 7 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews also survive.

Burial will be in Fraziers Cemetery in Cohutta. Serving as pallbearers will be: Todd Hudgins, Jeff Shuler, Bryce Peeples, Parker Ogle, Ray Ogle, III and David Ogle.
