Obituary for Joseph H Jackson Joseph H Jackson died this morning at 4:45 o'clock of a complication of diseases at St Elizabeth hospital. He had been ill for some time and was confined to the hospital but one week. He was born in Dearborn county, January 27, 1857, and moved to this county twelve years ago. He had been a resident of this city for more than ten years. He was married in 1909 and his widow survives. He has no children. The deceased was in the saloon business cuing his ten years in the city and formerly conducted a saloon on Main street. Three years ago he purchased the Stock Yards saloon and owned that business at the time of his death. He was a man of good business ability and had a host of friends in the city. The funeral service will be held from the Frank undertaking parlor on Main street at 12 o'clock Sunday and the remains will be taken to Stockwell, where the interment will be in the Stingley cemetery.
