Francis Marion Spragg died at his home in Washington, Pa., Tuesday evening, March 8, aged 82 years, of infirmities incident to advanced years. Mr. Spragg had spent the greater part of his life in Greene county where he was born. He removed with his family to Washington, Pa., in 1908, where he was employed by the Hazel-Atlas Glass company for a number of years. He leaves his wife, Clara Harvey Spragg, and the following children: Mrs. G. T. Bradley, of Littleton, W. Va.; Mrs. J. W. Ramsey, R. A. Spragg and Roy Spragg, of Washington, Pa.; J. M. Spragg and F. J. Spragg, of Littleton, W. Va. Three step-brothers and a step-sister surviving are Jack Antill, of Deep Valley; George Antill, of Burton, W. Va.; Peter Antill, of Averson, W. Va., and Mrs. Josephine Lyons, of Washington, Pa. He also leaves a step-son, David O. Harvey, of Dawson, Ga., and a step-daughter, Mrs. Harry Meeks, of Washington, Pa. There are 13 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. The funeral services were held Friday, at 2 o'clock. Interment is in the Washington cemetery.
