Mrs. Rose Spring Hart, 88, Humbird. former Monticello resident. died Feb. 12, 1982, in St.Clare hospital, Monroe, where she had been a patient since Feb. 8. She was the former Rose Irene Bryner, daughter of John and Katherine Rhyner Bryner, born July 8, 1893 in Mt.Pleasant Township, Green county. As a small child she moved with her family to Clark County. On Feb. 11, 1915 she was married to William F. Spring in Clark County. They farmed in Mt. Pleasant Township until moving to Monticello in 1945. He died July 10, 1963. Her marriage to Barry Hart took place March 5, 1967 in Monticello. She had since resided at Humbird, he died Feb. 9, 1979. Mrs. Hart had been spending the winter with her daughter, Mrs. Wilma Zufluh, Albany. She had been a member of the Zwingli United Church of Christ, Monticello, and the Order of Eastern Star.
Funeral services were held Monday, Feb. 22, in Zwingli Church Memorial Lounge, Monticello, the Rev. Charles G. Workman officiated. Burial was in Highland Cemetery.
Pallbearers were grandsons, Milton Babler Sr., and Roger Zurfluh, Monticello, Duane Spring, Oregon, Dwight Spring, Belleville, Frederick Zurfluh, Albany and William Zurfluh, Brooklyn.
Survivors include her daughter, Mrs. Wilma Zurfluh; a step-daughter, Mrs. Angus (Verna) Flood and a step-son, Harold Hart, both of Humbird; a brother, John Bryner, Humbird; three sisters, Mrs. Chloy Reider, Rockford, Ill., Mrs. Mae Hahn, Humbird, and Mrs. Emma Keller, Beloit; nine grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents and her husbands, she was preceded in death by Willis I. Spring, Aug. 19, 1971 and two sisters, Anna Hart and Elizabeth Baebler.
