Fredrick was born on a Sunday, the fourth child of Margaret (Byer) Doyle and William E. Doyle. Fredrick was a practicing physician for 17 years in Clear Spring, Maryland and the surrounding vicinity. He recieved his early education at Mount St. Marys College and attended a course of medical lectures at the University of Maryland, where he graduated in 1859. In 1860 he was working in Hagerstown as a physician. Dr. Doyle's first field of practice was in Bradford County, Pennsylvania where he remained from 1860 to 1865. His circuit in Pennsylvania embraced portions of Bedford and Fulton Counties, Maryland...sometimes journeyed 60-75 miles early in his career. In 1870 his office was at a drugstore on Cumberland St., in Clearspring, Maryland. On Wednesday, April 19th, 1871 Fredrick married Laura V. McLaughlin. They resided in Clearspring, Maryland. Dr. Doyle died on a Tuesday. He is buried in plot 54, section J of the Cemetery. In his last Will and Testament, he mentioned he wanted the remains of his parents removed from their old resting place, (Original burial places unknown), and reinterred next to him in his Cemetery, that happened on June 16th, 1883, almost two months after his death. His wife Laura passed away 17 years after him, on a Saturday, January 27th, 1900 of alcohol consumption, she is buried with her parents in Clearspring, Maryland, St. Paul's Church Cemetery. The Doyles had no children.
