Born in Rongeburg, Germany to Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Widdiken. Came to the United States in August of 1833 after sailing from Germany for 5 months. Landed in Baltimore and later left for Pennsylvania with Jacob Springer whom she met on the ship. Annie married Jacob Springer at the end of 1833. She later moved with her family to Ohio and then to Miami County Indiana. She had 6 children.
