Paul C. Hansen, 61, of Blair, died June 15, 2009, at Methodist Hospital in Omaha.
Funeral services were June 19, at First Lutheran Church in Blair. Interment was in the Blair Cemetery.
Paul C. Hansen was born April 12, 1948, in Omaha to Herbert and Dorothy (Jessen) Hansen. He attended Bisbee School and graduated from Blair High School and Dana College. He did his graduate work at the University of Wyoming.
He farmed west of Blair following his father’s death and worked at Memorial Community Hospital in Blair. For the last 14 years, he was employed at Con-E-Co.
He was baptized, confirmed, and was a lifelong active member of Immanuel Lutheran Church in Orum.
He was the treasurer of the Washington County Recycling Association, served as state vice-president of the Grange and was president of the Riverview Grange. He was active in 4-H, Thrivent and Destination Imagination.
He is survived by his wife, children, grandson, brother and sister-in-law, sisters and brother-in-law, aunts and uncle, nieces and nephews.
