Dale E. Hansen, 75, died Saturday, Jan. 2, 1999, at his home in Blair.

Services will be 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 5, at the Campbell-Aman Funeral Home. Burial will be in the Blair Cemetery.

Dale E. Hansen was born on Sept. 11, 1923, in Omaha to Clyde “Bud” and Pauline (Clous) Hansen. He graduated from Benson High School in Omaha in 1941.

On May 18, 1946, he married Ruth Krenzer in Hiawatha, Kan.
The couple lived in Omaha until moving to Fort Calhoun in 1971. In 1991, the Hansens moved to Blair. He worked in the production control department for Union Pacific Railroad for 40 years until retiring in the early 1980’s. He was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles Chapter 3215 in Blair and a member of the Fort Calhoun American Legion Post 348.

He is survived by his wife, Ruth, of Blair; daughters and son-in-law and two grandsons.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Harold.

Campbell-Aman Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
